Happy Holidays! We hope you are having a fantastic Christmas, and hopefully this will make you have an even more fantastic Christmas: We are switching game engines again.

Now, this is for good reason: We want to make the game 2D again. Not only will this help make development on the game even easier, it also means we will be able to make a specific art style. So, what kind of art style is this game going to be now? A sketched kind-of style, similar to Bendy and the Ink Machine, except with colour/color.

So, what have we made so far? We are working on a completely different map from the one you have already played (which will also have a different layout than the one you can play in now) which will take place in a Quarry!

So yeah. We have been working seriously hard on making Lights Out the best game it can possibly be. Another decision we have made, is that the steam version will be free.
